Managed IT Services Pricing in South Florida
Straightforward pricing for South Florida small and midsize businesses: one simple managed services plan, prepaid hour blocks for project work, and a discounted on-site rate for plan customers. No tier games, no surprise invoices.
The short answer
- $100 – $150 per user / month for the managed services plan — full software stack included.
- $100 / hour discounted on-site rate for plan customers (on-site work is not bundled into the monthly fee).
- Prepaid hour blocks available for project work or for businesses that don't need a full managed plan.
The NerdTeck Managed Services Plan
One plan, one flat monthly fee per user. The range reflects user count, device count, and how much security or compliance overhead your environment carries — not artificial Bronze/Silver/Gold tiers that gate features behind upsells.

- Businesses with internal IT that need occasional backup
- One-off projects: migrations, office moves, hardware refreshes
- Supplemental expertise on top of an existing team
How we price vs. the rest of the industry
Most MSPs quote off one of four pricing structures. Here's how we think about them.
Per-user (what we do by default)
One flat fee per employee per month, covering every device that user touches. Easiest to budget and our standard quote for SMBs with knowledge workers.
Per-device (available on request)
Billed for each workstation, server, firewall or switch. We can quote this way for warehouses, retail, or shops with shared computers where per-user math doesn't fit.
Prepaid hour blocks (our alternative to break-fix)
For clients who don't need a full managed plan. Lower per-hour rate than ad-hoc work, and you draw against the block as needed.
Pure break-fix / hourly only (we don't do this)
Cheapest on paper, but it pays the MSP to wait for things to break. Bad incentives for both sides — that's why we sell plans and blocks instead.
What moves your monthly rate within the range
- User count and number of locations — more endpoints means more monitoring, patching and helpdesk volume.
- Device-to-user ratio — engineers with three machines and a server cost more to manage than a one-laptop user.
- Servers and on-prem infrastructure that still need hands-on care.
- Compliance requirements — HIPAA, FTC Safeguards, PCI all add tooling and reporting overhead.
- Security posture — adding MDR, SIEM, or advanced email security on top of the standard stack.
- Vendor sprawl — every line-of-business app, ISP, copier and phone vendor we coordinate on your behalf is real labor.
How Miami managed IT pricing compares
South Florida MSP rates typically run $120–$200 per user per month for all-inclusive plans. Local labor, traffic between Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, and the concentration of regulated industries (legal, medical, finance, maritime, hospitality) push pricing up. We sit at the lower end of that range while still including the full security and management stack — see the managed IT service page for what's actually in the stack.
Managed IT pricing FAQ
How much does NerdTeck's managed IT plan cost?+
$100 to $150 per user per month. The exact rate depends on user count, device count, and security or compliance requirements. It's a single flat monthly fee — no surprise hourly add-ons for routine support.
What's included in the monthly fee?+
Our full software stack — 24/7 monitoring and patching, unlimited remote helpdesk, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint protection (EDR), email and DNS security, backup and disaster recovery, security awareness training, vendor coordination, and quarterly business reviews.
Is on-site work included?+
No. On-site labor is billed separately, but plan customers get a discounted rate of $100 per hour. Most issues are resolved remotely; on-site visits are reserved for situations that actually need hands on hardware.
What if I just need occasional help instead of a full plan?+
We sell prepaid blocks of hours. They're the right fit for businesses that have internal IT but need occasional backup, one-off project help, or supplemental expertise. The per-hour rate inside a block is lower than ad-hoc hourly work.
Do you price per user or per device?+
Per user is our default — it's the simplest to budget when employees use multiple devices. We can also quote per device for environments with shared workstations, warehouse PCs, or heavy server footprints. Both pricing models cover the same software stack.
How does NerdTeck pricing compare to other Miami MSPs?+
South Florida MSP rates generally run $120–$200 per user per month for all-inclusive plans. We sit at the lower end of that range while still including the full security and management stack — and clients get a discounted on-site rate when they do need a truck roll.
How should I compare pricing across managed service providers?+
Compare on three things, not just the sticker price: (1) exactly what's included vs. billed separately, (2) response-time SLAs in writing, and (3) who actually answers the phone — a local team or a national dispatcher. A cheap quote that bills every project hourly almost always costs more by year-end.
